The Habanero pepper is a chilli variety also know as the hot piment lampion, rocotillo or scotch bonnet chilli.
This chilli is extremely hot and Man Féfé is all about spicing your dishes. The Man Fefé range of chilli based condiments and seasoning products are of a higher quality. The chilli purée and chilli oil are elaborated with fresh peppers cultivated in Guadeloupe. They contain:
- no chemical preservatives
- no colouring agents
- no artificial aromas or other chemical auxiliaries
The chillies come straight from Guadeloupian growers. Man Féfé regularly submit its products to the Pasteur Institute in France in order to guarantee its quality. The recipe was inherited from a Man Féfé (Madame Féfé in Creole) who used to cook the sauces for her neighbours. People would travel from far to get a pot of her stuff and now the recipe is a worldwide hit!
A small tip, to cool off the chilli fire in your mouth, drink milk, not water!
